The faculty and students of the School of Management were invited to attend the 11th China Marketing International Academic Conference hosted by the Chinese Scholars Marketing Association.

      From June 23 to June 26, 2023, the 11th China Marketing International Academic Conference, jointly hosted by Sichuan University and the Chinese Scholars Marketing Association, was successfully held in Chengdu. The theme of the conference was "Marketing in the Context of Environmental, Social and Governance Situations". Combining domestic and international economic situations, changes in the international market, and the development status of the Chinese market, the conference adopted the form of keynote speeches and sub-forum reports to exchange the latest research results and provide assistance for enterprise technological innovation and world brand building. The conference was held in a combination of online and offline formats, with hundreds of marketing scholars and industry elites from home and abroad attending, aiming to build a high-level international communication platform for multi-organizational interaction between academia and industry.


      Under the guidance of Professor Yu Niu and Dr. Jingwen Li from our school, graduate students Jiao Zhiqiang, Zhang Meiling, Wang Yuanyuan, Deng Manji and other classmates attended and made relevant academic reports at the sub-forums. On the morning of the 25th, Zhang Meiling and Wang Yuanyuan respectively gave academic presentations entitled "Effects of Big Data Analytics Management Capability on Firm Performance: The Mediating Role of Ambidextrous Innovation Competences" and "Effects of Information Presentation Form on Health Science Popularization" in parallel forums on "Big Data Marketing" and "Big Health Market Marketing". Deng Manji and Jiao Zhiqiang gave academic reports entitled "Research on the Effect of Self-operated Logistics Service Quality on Online Retail Brand Equity" and "Optimal Pricing and Dual Credit Strategies for Auto Manufacturers under Government Subsidy" at the parallel forum on "Cross-disciplinary Research on Supply/Operation/Marketing". These reports attracted the attention of top scholars and young scholars from home and abroad, and exchanged academic ideas and guidance with experts from many well-known domestic universities such as the University of Science and Technology of China, Shenzhen University, and Sichuan University, giving full recognition to the academic reports of our graduate students. Through this conference, our graduate students had in-depth discussions and exchanges with scholars from home and abroad, expanded the academic influence of our school, broadened their research perspectives, inspired their research ideas, and laid a solid foundation for future scientific research work.
